About
I led PR and public affairs across the North of England for this multi-national brand. I also managed national PR on subjects including McDonald’s employer reputation.
My role
I led a team to create an integrated communications campaign to promote McDonald’s plans to create new jobs. This included nation-wide media relations, locating franchisee and staff member spokespeople and localised employment figures across the UK.
Deliverables
- Secured print and broadcast media coverage in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
- Applications for jobs at McDonald’s rose 55% on the day of the announcement and 19% during the month
